Why can't I just use the RSS feed? =)
I get enough crap in my emails... well I mean not that this stuff is crap... but... well... you know what I mean...
Some people aren't so comfortable with the Internets and the RSS feeds. I'm making the service available in as many ways as possible.
Good idea, Jen. We offer multiple RSS feeds, an e-mail digest and other ways to communicate with the blog. After all, it's Web 2.0 time!
One suggestion if I may... Would you also consider adding a "Best of the blogs" or even a listing at the bottom of the news section for great blog posts? Even if you only listed 2 or 3, you'd be spreading some blogger good will and reminding the local mass media that they're not the only gig in town.
Since you don't have the blogroll on your front page, it doesn't do us bloggers any good with Alexa or Technorati ranks, so this would be a great way of spreading the linkety-love.
