GOODE TO HOLD PRESS CONFERENCES ON RISING GAS PRICES

Terre Haute: Eighth District Congressional candidate Greg Goode will conduct a pair of press conferences on Wednesday, July 2nd regarding his commitment to fight the continued rising cost of gasoline.
The first event will be held at 10:30 am (EST) at the Goode For Congress headquarters located in Terre Haute behind Honey Creek Square at 3175 S. 3rd Place. Greg will then head south for a second press conference at 2:30 ( CST), at the GOP Headquarters in Evansville, located at 815 John Street.
Goode will make a major announcement concerning his desire and dedication to allow drilling both off-shore and in ANWR. He also feels restrictions for building new refineries in the United States should be lifted, as middle class Hoosiers are being forced to alter their budgets due to sky high prices at the gas pumps.
" The average cost of gasoline in our country is now over $4.00 a gallon and those in charge of Congress have done little, if anything, to address the problem," Goode stated. "My opponent is on record as being opposed to domestic drilling of any kind, and I think my announcement Tuesday will show Hoosiers in the 8th district just how far apart he and I stand on this critical issue."
Goode previously worked on the staffs of two former U.S. Congressmen and resides in Terre Haute with his wife Leslie and their 3-year-old son Jackson.
