"HOOSIER HOMETOWN TOUR" CONTINUES IN SOUTHERN INDIANA
INDIANAPOLIS - Jill Long Thompson and Dennie Oxley, the Democratic nominees for Governor and Lieutenant Governor, will continue their "Hoosier Hometown Tour" this weekend stopping in communities throughout Southern Indiana on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Long Thompson and Oxley will visit Madison, Lawrenceburg, Greensburg, Salem and Chrisney among other stops. They duo have been spending the summer months visiting smaller communities throughout the state, talking with local residents, touring businesses, visiting county fairs and discussing their plans to rebuild Indiana's economy. Since beginning the "Hoosier Hometown Tour" earlier this summer, Long Thompson and Oxley have visited 70 different counties.
The following is a schedule of public events in which Long Thompson and Oxley will appear. This schedule is subject to change. All times are local.

12:30 p.m. Jill and Dennie will visit Whiskey's Restaurant (334 Front Street) in Lawrenceburg to meet with local residents and have lunch.
Saturday, July 26, 2008
1:00 p.m. Dennie will participate in the Washington County Farmers and Merchants Fair Parade. The parade steps off from Salem High School (corner of Homer and Harrison Streets) in Salem.
Sunday, July 27, 2008
11:30 a.m. Dennie will visit with local supporters at the Spencer County Democratic Party Fish Fry at the Spencer County 4-H Center in Chrisney (IN-231/Main Street and IN-70/CR 800 North).
