College presidents at institutions across America, including Butler University President Bobby Fong, want lawmakers to reconsider the 21-year-old drinking age.
They contend, among other things, that kids won't binge if it's legal for them to imbibe.
Do you think younger'uns should be able to get their booze on? Vote in the new HPR poll in the column to the right of this post.

I've never understood the drinking age being 21.
Ok... So let's break this down...
At 18 you can:
- Join the military, fight and die for your country as well as kill other people in the name of your country.
- Be put to death for crimes you commit.
- Be part of the voting electorate deciding who should be put into office including who should have their finger on the nuclear button.
- Drive a vehicle weighing several tons at speeds up to 70mph.
- Gamble.
- Marry someone.
- Legally purchase a drug that many consider is as addictive as heroin and is a known carcinogenic (tobacco).
But god forbid you have a beer.
Where is the logic in this?
