Like most Hoosier Democrats, I'm a little sad this morning that Barack Obama didn't pick Evan Bayh to be his running mate.
That being said, I think Joe Biden is a good selection, though I lost a few years off my life last night with all the last-minute guesswork by the mainstream media.
Here's what we learned about the political prognostication game:
- Don't believe everything you read on a crappy bumper sticker that looks like it was produced for a sixth-grade civics class.
- Matt Drudge has no idea what he's talking about.
- Politicians will break your heart.
- Barack Obama is the best secret-keeper ever.
- Who's totally pumped about the imminent resurgence of this clip from Wayne's World?
Evan Bayh, always a bridesmaid, never a bride. He would probably lose the next primary to Susan if she would run against him.
