Oh boy! This is just what we need! More oil to burn, putting more Carbon Dioxide into the atmosphere and increasing global warming. Nice call, guys!
These gentlemen need to listen to fellow Republican and Oilman T. Boone Pickens who said that "this is one emergency we can't drill our way out of."
Oh, and Dan Burton had his facts wrong about which President was in office when OPEC embargoed oil to the US causing those long lines he mentioned. It was Republican Richard Nixon, not Democrat Jimmy Carter (coincidence?).
