About The Author

Jennifer Wagner is a lifelong Indiana resident who got her start in January 2001 as a government reporter for the Indianapolis Star.

She left the paper after almost two years to attend law school part-time and fell into a series of jobs that eventually led her to political hackdom and a career in communications. She lives in Downtown Indianapolis with her husband, Gordon, and their daughter, Alexandra.

Jennifer started this site after running a popular statewide Democratic blog, Taking Down Words, for more than three years -- and serving during much of that time as Communications Director for the Indiana Democratic Party.

You don't have to wonder where she stands politically, but she's also a strong believer that people should have all the information in front of them before they make their own political decisions.

Hence, this site was born.
